The Banana is brimming with the luxuries you would expect from a fine inn, including all-cotton linens, fluffy beach and bath towels, piles of down and feather pillows and beautiful designer furniture. Ceiling fans cool every room, and the back yard invites you to relax in our large swimming pool and spa. Enjoy a festive grill-out on our tropically landscaped patio, lounge in front of one of our four satellite televisions, or join your family in one of our board games. Banana Cabana is just a short, two-block stroll to world-famous Daytona Beach. If you bring your car or bike, be sure to ride on this beach, as it's one of the last that still allows cars. The myriad shops and restaurants along A1A are within walking distance, and just over International Speedway causeway is historic Beach Street, with some of our family's favorite spots, including a public library with free internet access and a charming weekend farmer's market. Be sure to visit the Daytona Speedway Museum or, if the timing is right, take in a race for a uniquely Daytona thrill. The Orlando attractions are just about an hour's drive from The Banana, and discount passes ar easy to find, especially on weekdays. America's Oldest City, St. Augustine, is a brief and beautiful drive north, and NASA's Space Center is a short drive south. If you are lucky enough to be here for Biketoberfest or Bike Week, be sure to bring extra film to capture a uniquely American beach scene.
